More Travel With National Geographic
National Geographic Private Journeys
Travel independently—with all the benefits of exploring with National Geographic. National Geographic Private Journeys are unique itineraries designed for independent travelers. Simply choose from among our 12 extraordinary trips and select the week you'd like to travel. We'll take care of the rest. Bring your spouse, family, friends, or just treat yourself to a great adventure. Each Private Journey has departure dates throughout the year so that you can choose the timing that works best for you. You'll explore each destination in the company of a private guide or, occasionally, in a small guided group. Wherever possible, you'll have the opportunity to meet National Geographic writers and researchers in the field.
National Geographic Student Expeditions
We invite the next generation of explorers to learn about the world firsthand with National Geographic on active expeditions designed for high school students. Whether discovering Inca ruins in Peru, hiking along China's Great Wall, or snorkeling the reefs of Australia, encounter incredible places close up in the company of dynamic trip leaders and a National Geographic expert. Our student expeditions combine adventure, cultural immersion, and an On Assignment project that focuses on a specific topic—such as photography, wildlife and conservation, or filmmaking—and enables students to further engage with the places they visit. Our new National Geographic On Campus programs based in Monterey Bay, California, and Bar Harbor, Maine, combine hands-on workshops, On Assignment projects, activities in the field, and outdoor excursions led by trip leaders and two National Geographic experts.
Grand Canyon Day Excursions
Get the most out of your Grand Canyon National Park experience by joining one or more of National Geographic's immersive, enriching, and fun naturalist-guided excursions into the Grand Canyon. Each excursion is limited to 12 people and departs daily form the National Geographic Visitor Center, conveniently located on Route 64 just one mile south of the South Rim entrance to Grand Canyon National Park.
