Fall in love with Patagonia amid its massive peaks, welcoming people, and incredible foods. Take in the colors of Buenos Aires and get some new moves during a local tango lesson. Then head into nature to explore Torres del Paine National Park and the humbling Perito Moreno Glacier. Reaching the end of the world at Ushuaia is just the tip of the iceberg of this incredible adventure.

Itinerary - 14 Days

Day 1 — Buenos Aires

Arrive at any time. Arrival transfer is included.

Days 2 & 3 — Bariloche

Catch a flight to northern Patagonia. Enjoy the highlights of scenic San Carlos de Bariloche on a Circuito Chico tour, with stops at local artisanal producers specializing in chocolate, beer, and jams. The next day, enjoy free time to explore this incredible region by foot or bike. (2B)

Days 4 & 5 — Puerto Varas

Travel by bus and ferry to Puerto Varas in the stunning Chilean Lake District. Enjoy the sights from the Cruce de Lagos, considered one of the most scenic ferry cruises in the world. The next day, opt to take a daytime excursion to picturesque Chiloé Island. (2B)

Days 6 & 7 — Torres del Paine National Park

Catch a flight to Punta Arenas and then transfer to Torres del Paine National Park. The next day, take a full-day trip into the park alongside a guide. Marvel at pristine lakes, glaciers, and waterfalls in this vast and stunning region. (2B, 1L, 2D)

Days 8 & 9 — El Calafate

Enjoy the gorgeous drive to El Calafate. The following day, attend a talk by a local expert on the Perito Moreno Glacier. Then travel into Los Glaciares National Park to view this massive glacier, and opt to take a boat ride to its base. (2B)

Days 10 & 11 — Ushuaia

Fly to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world. The next day, introduce yourself see the penguins on Martillo Island with a naturalist guide. Then return to Ushuaia by navigating the Beagle Channel on a catamaran, passing islands inhabited by birds, penguins, and seals, as well as the lighthouse at the “end of the world.” (2B)

Days 12 & 13 — Buenos Aires

Return to Buenos Aires and enjoy some free time to explore the “Paris of South America.” In the evening, head out to San Telmo—the oldest barrio in the city—for dinner in a café, followed by a tango lesson from local dancers at a studio. Then it’s time for a milonga, a neighborhood tradition where students and teachers of the studio show up to practice their moves. Sit back and enjoy or join in the fun. The next day, enjoy a tour of the city’s highlights, including the Plaza de Mayo (home to Eva Perón’s famous balcony), La Boca, and La Recoleta Cemetery. (2B, 1D)

Day 14 — Buenos Aires

All trip prices are per person based on double occupancy. If you're traveling on your own, we'll pair you up with a roommate of the same gender so that you can pay the same rate as other travelers. Prices are subject to change without notice and do not include airfare. All prices and fares are quoted in U.S. dollars.
