Itinerary - 5 Days

Day 1 — San José del Cabo/La Paz

Arrive at Los Cabos International Airport and transfer to La Paz to embark the National Geographic Venture. Settle into your cabin, and then head to the deck to watch the sunset as we cruise the Bay of La Paz en route to Isla Espíritu Santo.

Days 2, 3, & 4 — Isla Espíritu Santo

Wake up anchored in one of Isla Espíritu Santo’s beautiful bays, and join our wellness specialist for a sunrise yoga session on deck or onshore, at the water’s edge. Then spend three full days exploring this pristine island at your pace, using the ship as your roving base camp.

Dive into turquoise waters to snorkel an underwater world teeming with colorful reef fish, sea turtles, and playful sea lions. Board a kayak or stand-up paddleboard to glide beneath dramatic sea cliffs and discover hidden coves that harbor nesting seabirds. Or zip across glistening waters in our Zodiac, camera in hand, to capture shots of leaping dolphins and other marine mammals.

Go ashore and explore the isle’s stunning beaches and craggy coastlines. Hike across black lava and pink volcanic ash with our mindfulness specialist, join a challenging trek up a rocky arroyo to the crest of the island, and set out with a naturalist for an in-depth look at the region’s geology and natural history. Spend plenty of time strolling sugar-white sands, seeking out shells and taking in views over crystalline waters.

During your downtime, head to the ship’s spa for a massage, relax in the lounge as you watch live footage of the undersea, or spot wildlife from on deck. Or join one of our onboard fitness classes or meditation sessions. Each evening, we’ll board Zodiacs and cruise to a deserted stretch of shoreline to savor a beach barbecue, followed by time to gather around a bonfire and share stories from the day’s adventures.

Day 5 — La Paz/San José del Cabo

Disembark in downtown La Paz this morning and transfer to the Los Cabos airport to catch your flight home.
