Kigoma Hilltop Hotel
Set on a remote outcrop among acres of lush gardens overlooking Lake Tanganyika, the Kigoma Hilltop Hotel is located in Kigoma. Scattered along the edge of the hilltop are the 30 newly refurbished cottage guest rooms. Guest rooms offer air conditioning, satellite television, in-room safe, and balcony. The hotel also boasts two restaurants, a swimming pool, and a gym.
Kungwe Beach Lodge
Set on a stretch of secluded golden beach, Kungwe Beach Lodge is ideally positioned in the tropical shade of the Mahale forest with breathtaking views over the crystal clear waters of Lake Tanganyika. The 10 comfortable and spacious guest tents are tucked into the trees at the sand's edge and are furnished in a traditional safari style. The tents are raised on wooden decks with hardwood floors and en suite bathroom with shower and flush toilet.
Virunga Safari Lodge
This eco-lodge is perched on a stunning hillside with breathtaking views of the Virunga volcanoes and Lakes Ruhondo and Bulera. The lodge consists of eight luxury bandas, or cottages, that utilize solar power to provide electricity.
