Itinerary - 5 Days

Day 1 — Johannesburg/Cape Town

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and spend the afternoon relaxing or explore the city on your own.

Day 2 — Cape Town

Enjoy a city tour that includes a cable car ride to the top of Table Mountain, offering wonderful panoramic views of the city and harbor. This afternoon, travel by ferry to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated and learn about his historic "walk to freedom."

Day 3 — Cape Peninsula

Begin the day with a drive through the beach towns of Clifton and Camps Bay along the Atlantic Coast road, and venture into the fishing villages of Hout Bay. Continue over Chapman's Peak, offering beautiful coastal views of the Cape Point Nature Reserve. After lunch, visit the naval village of Simonstown and view a colony of jackass penguins. Then explore the historic Cape Dutch home at Groot Constantia, and enjoy a tasting at its renowned winery.
