Day 1 — Lima
Arrive at any time. Arrival transfer
Days 2 & 3 — Amazon Rain Forest
Fly to Puerto Maldonado and continue by motorized canoe to our Amazon lodge, located in the lush Tambopata rain forest. Go on jungle excursions guided by knowledgeable naturalists to spot wildlife. Enjoy some free time to relax or swim, and go on a caiman-spotting cruise after dark. (2B, 2L, 2D)
Day 4 — Cusco
Travel by boat out of the jungle and catch our flight over the Andes to Cusco. Enjoy some free time to explore the cobbled streets and festive plazas of this one-time Inca capital. This evening, peer at the stars through the telescopes of the Cusco planetarium. (1B)
Day 5 — Sacred Valley/Ollantaytambo
Enjoy a full day to explore the Sacred Valley of the Inca with a local guide. Tour the G Adventures-supported Parque de la Papa, or Potato Park, a network of rural agricultural communities working to preserve more than 700 species of potatoes. Learn about potato cultivation and traditional weaving, and the importance of each to Andean culture. Next, explore the Pisac ruins and enjoy lunch at the G Adventures-supported Sacred Valley Community Restaurant in the village of Huchuy Qosqo. (1B, 1L)
Days 6 through 9 — Inca Trail to Machu Piccu/Cusco
All roads lead to Machu Picchu, either
by foot or rail. Choose to undertake the four-day
guided Inca Trail hike. Or enjoy two free
days in Cusco and catch a scenic train ride to
Aguas Calientes, our base for visiting the famed citadel. Explore Machu Picchu with an expert guide
before returning to Cusco by train. (4B, 3L, 3D)
Day 10 — Cusco
Take advantage of a free day in Cusco to explore its museums and ruins. Or opt to try white-water rafting, mountain biking, or horseback riding. (1B)
Days 11 & 12 — Puno/Lake Titicaca

day, enjoy a guided boat tour of Lake Titicaca, visiting the floating Islands of
Uros and Taquile. Also visit the Luquina community
and sit down for a traditional lunch in a

Transfer to Juliaca and fly
back to Lima to enjoy your last night in Peru.
