The sleek Oceanic Discoverer accommodates 68 guests in 35 spacious outside staterooms, each with a window (or two portholes in Category 1), a writing desk, a wardrobe, individual climate control, and a private bathroom. The ship features a lounge with a library and a bar, a dining room, a sun deck, and a hot tub. Laundry and email service are available on board.

Expedition Costs
Prices are per person, double occupancy. For a single cabin in the December 2011 - February 2012 departures, add $2,940 in Category 1 and $3,210 in Category 2. For a single cabin in 2013, add $3,400 in Category 1 and $3,650 in Category 2.
Airfare is not included in the expedition cost. Economy airfare from Los Angeles to Auckland and return from Queenstown is $1,825 (subject to change).
