Biologist St. John (Jo) Anderson moved to East Africa in 1995 shortly after graduating from Oxford University. He has since conducted wildlife research throughout East Africa, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro more than 50 times, and led countless safaris in Rwanda, Tanzania, and Kenya. Jo has also worked on local ecotourism projects and currently is a partner in Carbon Tanzania, a carbon emissions offset initiative. He lives with his family in Arusha.
