Dr. Gro Brundtland
Dr. Gro Brundtland spent 20 years in public office, including serving as Prime Minister of Norway—the first woman, and youngest person , to ever do so. She now serves as UN Special Envoy on Climate Change, seeking ways to balance human enterprise and the planet's limits. As a member of The Elders, a group founded by Nelson Mandella, Graça Machel, and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Gro contributes to tackling the world's toughest problems. She will join the June 6, 2010 Norway's Fjords and Arctic Svalbard voyage and speak about the culture and history of Norway.
