Award-winning photographer Beth Wald has traveled around the globe on assignment for National Geographic magazine and National Geographic Traveler. She has visited Patagonia numerous times to photograph this vast region—climbing peaks and crossing ice caps, trekking through Torres del Paine Park, and riding horseback across the steppe.
