Conservationist and National Geographic grantee Marc Brody is working to conserve giant pandas and their habitat in and around China’s Wolong Nature Reserve, for which he is a senior advisor. He founded Panda Mountain, an NGO entrusted by the Wolong Administration to manage a panda conservation center and a sustainability initiative for indigenous villagers. Marc is also president of the U.S.-China Environmental Fund. When not in Wolong, he is actively restoring an oak savanna and prairie on his land near Madison, Wisconsin.
