A native of Guayaquil, Ecuador, Paula Tagle Saad has worked as an interpreter for the Galapagos National Park for more than eight years. Paula holds a degree in geology and has a deep familiarity with both the land and the culture of the Galápagos. In 2004, she published a children's book, Galápagos Bedtime Stories, and she currently writes a column on the Galápagos for the Ecuadorian newspaper El Universo.
