Writer and explorer Andrew Evans is National Geographic’s “Digital Nomad,” traveling the globe using social media to create interactive travel experiences for readers online. The very definition of an intrepid traveler, Andrew has ridden public buses from National Geographic's headquarters in Washington D.C. to the southernmost tip of South America and dogsleds through Canada, blogging and tweeting all the way.
Next up: this week he joins 11 of our explorers on a once-in-a-lifetime trip by private jet: Celebrating 125 Years of Exploration with National Geographic. As he snorkels with Sylvia Earle in Palau and tracks gorillas with Mireya Mayor in Rwanda, you can follow his adventures on the Digital Nomad blog and on Twitter: @WheresAndrew.
