Summer 2012 Trips for High School Students

National Geographic Student Expeditions Logo

We invite the next generation of explorers to get out into the field and learn about the world firsthand with National Geographic on active summer expeditions designed for high school students. Whether discovering Inca ruins in Peru, hiking down into the Grand Canyon, or snorkeling with Sea Lions in the Galapagos, students encounter incredible places close up in the company of dynamic trip leaders and a National Geographic expert.

Our student programs combine adventure, cultural immersion and an On Assignment project that allows students to focus on a specific topic — such as photography, wildlife and conservation, filmmaking, or community service — and enables them to further engage with the places they visit.
